Farmers particularly ask walkers to keep to the rights
of way and to ensure dogs do not disturb livestock, game birds or wildlife.
It is also important to remember that ancient monuments
are protected by law in order to ensure their survival. Please respect
them and other archaeological sites.
The walks are from three to five miles long and take
between two and two and a half hours. Refreshment is available on the
way round if the walk is timed appropriately. All the walks demand strong
footwear, and some are quite muddy if the weather has been wet.
